Sega Celebrates 20 Years Of Sonic

Sega may be celebrating their 20th anniversary, but they are eating their cake all by themselves... oh wait did a scrap fall off? Oh why yes it did!!! A scrap they are calling "Companion Application" WTF?! Really??

I love SEGA, don't get me wrong! SEGA is everything retro that there is about gaming (i remember when it wasn't) But reaching such a milestone should be a celebration and something nice to give back to your fans who have supported you...

Instead they come out with this ..."companion" thing... i personally would prefer the companion cube at this point... The app its self houses a lite version of sonic 4... one which your allotted a very short time to play before it tells you ...well basically you suck and you should buy the full app.

Then theres "Sketchhog"... I can only assume this is what some programmer made while spending some alone time in a bathroom... because.. yea.. its that rough and nothing fun about it. At all...

WTF!?!?! Really???!! The rest of the goodies? Leader boards, i presume to track how much people are annoyed at this, and twitter.... because its convenient to have twitter right there to tell the whole world you just wasted 5 minutes of your life. Final verdict? I am saddened I have wasted the space on my phone on this and that i will forever have to look at it in my "Purchased" screen.
