I found this app back when I was playing Grid Defense which is one of the best tower defense games "EVER!" Anyway... the controls for the game seem as if they were set for a console which make navigation really simple if you had a controller (would be perfect for iOS ... hint hint developers). So I hooked up Joypad to my Mac and off I went. After an hour or two i forgot i had the iPhone in my hand, it made the gaming experience very intuitive.
I went ahead and tried several other games i had, just to see if it would work and how well. The game pad works amazing for top down shooters, side scrolling games, basically most games. It gets a little awkward when you try to play call of duty or any 1st person shooter... there's just too much involved in using a controller... but just another reason i prefer fps games on a computer versus a console.

All in all, the Joypad is a sweet app. Its price is free so nothing lost to try. I do hope the keep it free in the future. Not only that but it appears that the developer of the app is pushing their SDK to other developers to incorporate into their games. Hey, I'm all for it!
